Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Notify (the "Service") — a desktop notification service consisting of the website, the API and the desktop application. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password and API tokens secret. Tell us promptly if you believe a credential has been compromised; you can revoke API tokens at any time from the console.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to send unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content, to harass others, to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to disrupt or probe the infrastructure. You may only send notifications to recipients who expect them. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

The Service is provided "as is"

Notify is offered without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that every message is delivered, that the Service is uninterrupted, or that it is fit for a particular purpose. Do not rely on it as the sole channel for safety-critical alerts.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data or missed notifications arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
